Taking place at the EICC in Edinburgh, 'Drug Delivery to the Lungs (DDL) is a Premier International Conference, covering all aspects of respiratory drug delivery. DDL in an annual event, attracting a wide variety of attendees, including scientists, academics, clinicians, regulators and industry experts. The conference aims to bring great minds together, offering networking oppurtunity for its attendees, presentors and exhibitors.

This December, we look forwards to reconnecting with colleagues and friends from the scientific community. This year's conference is also running virtually and is free for students to attend!

Meet the attendees:

David Johnson is the Sales & Marketing Director for 3P Innovation, serving predominantly the Pharmaceutical sector 3P support their customers with custom engineering solutions together alongside a range of fill/finish liquid and powder technologies. Before joining 3P innovation David worked in the Oral Solid Dosage sector as a containment SME for a leading process equipment supplier. His experience in the Pharmaceutical world spans over 15 years and he remains committed to having a positive impact with the people and companies he works with. Haling from Rugby, UK, David is a rugby union fan and can always find justification to include a rugby story in any business situation.

Sam Hill is a project engineer at 3P innovation who has worked on multiple bespoke automation projects to commercialise novel medical devices and products. Having experience working on low-volume proof of concept rigs through to high-volume manufacturing equipment. Tom Bailey is a Chartered Mechanical engineer with over 20 years experience in the Pharmaceutical and Medical device Industry developing automation solutions to enable companies to bring novel and innovative products to market. Over the last 15 years Tom has been responsible for the development of a variety of innovative powder filling systems for Inhaled and Oral drugs.
He led the technical development of GSK’s latest high speed powder filling system for their Diskus inhaler and is currently involved in the development of a novel filling system capable of dosing pure API’s (Active Pharmaceutical Compounds) into capsules.
Tom is the Managing Director and co-owner of, UK based, 3P Innovation Limited (3P) an automation company that specialises in the integration of high precision powder filling and handling systems.
