2016

R500 robotic capsule and container filler launched

Incorporating Fill2Weight, 3P’s R500,the world’s fastest, gravimetric powder micro-dosing technology fills capsules, containers and devices on the same machine with rapid changeover and scalable, high-speed filling, handling the most difficult and challenging powders, such as spray-dried, cohesive, sticky powders, pure APIs and delicate biologics

2018

Large purpose built facility in Warwick

Plans announced for a new purpose-built facility to accommodate our next phase of investment and growth. Development started on a new 30,000 square foot development at Tournament Fields near Warwick, ideally situated in the centre of the UK.

Completed in November 2018, the new facility houses 3P’s broad skill base of professional engineers across all disciplines and provide increased capacity for multiple repeat machine builds, full commercial productions lines as well as early development labs and pilot plant projects.

2020

3P innovation Awarded Queen’s Award 2020 for Enterprise in Innovation

The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation was awarded for 3P’s pioneering and patented Fill2Weight technology. Fill2Weight has been designed to address the challenges of getting powders to flow and dispense accurately for pharmaceutical and medical device products. This technology was achieved by combining several different technologies in one solution, creating a highly innovative system, capable of filling practically any powder into a very diverse range of containers.

2021

3P innovation becomes an Employee-Owned company

Having worked hard to build the business over the last 14 years, founders Tom Bailey and Dave Seaward came to the realisation that our employees, who are responsible for so much of the success of 3P innovation, will be the best successors for ongoing and long-term ownership of the business. The transition to Employee Ownership helps to secure 3P innovation’s long-term future, for the benefit of both customers and employees.

2021

Awarded a Princess Royal Training Award 2021

We were awarded a Princess Royal Training Award 2021 for our Graduate Development Programme (GDP). Our third Royal award in the last two years! 

This award is in recognition of our commitment to the professional development and training of young engineers. Since its launch, the Graduate Development Programme has led to a yearly average revenue growth of 23% and a 16% decrease in staff turnover whilst expanding the skill sets of our graduates and enabling them to excel at their chosen specialism within 3P.

2022

£5M investment on a second purpose-built facility

As 3P innovation have continued to grow over the last few years, this has led to an investment of £5million into an eco-friendly 30,000 sq.ft purpose built facility, taking the 3P premises to a combined total of 60,000 sq ft of both office and workshop space. This move will allow for 3P’s workforce to double in size.
