3P innovation celebrates their first Employee-Ownership anniversary

On Friday 24th June 3P innovation had a company wide celebration for this year's EO day, with a staff BBQ and visit from local MP Saqib Bhatti.

This Employee Ownership (EO) Day marked the company's first anniversary of being employee owned. The whole company came together to celebrate on the day with a staff BBQ for lunch. The rain even held off with staff being outside in the sunshine enjoying their burgers and hot dogs.

This year’s theme was EO Grow - celebrating the growth of Employee Ownership over the last 10 years.  With this theme in mind, 3P innovation chose this as the perfect date to inaugurate the next phase of our new building’s development, inviting local MP Saqib Bhatti to cut the ribbon. Our new building is a £5M investment in an eco-friendly 30,000 sq ft facility which will enable us to double our size and expand in both UK and international operations. Additionally, this building will allow for staff growth which has already been witnessed over the last year as well as the providing further opportunity for new projects to be taken on.

Mr. Bhatti took part in a series of meetings with senior staff at 3P to discuss the potential for enhancing the West Midlands’ life sciences sector. He then enjoyed a tour of the facility with machine demos included experiencing first-hand the capabilities at 3P innovation, before joining the rest of the staff outside for the BBQ.

The afternoon was a huge success and was a great way to celebrate Employee Ownership and the growth 3P innovation has had over the last year.
