Last week, we celebrated EO Day, which is a chance to recognise the growing movement of employee-owned businesses and to reflect on what it means to work in a company built on shared purpose.
At 3P innovation, becoming employee-owned wasn’t just a structural change; it was a cultural one. The transition to 'Employee ownership ' means every team member now has a voice, and subsequently a role in shaping where we go next.
This year’s EO Day theme, #EOSmile, is a reminder of the deeper rewards of employee ownership. There’s pride in building something meaningful, trust in shared responsibility, and joy in doing work that matters, together. As co-founder, Dave Seaward, put it, “Selling a business is a nerve-racking time. You ask yourself, ‘Are we doing the right thing?’ Five years on, we’ve never looked back.”
