In the constantly evolving field of pharmaceutical manufacturing, the imperative to embrace new technologies and innovative strategies for process control and efficiency is more pressing than ever before. Recent advancements in aseptic processing, such as advanced isolators, robotics, and increased automation, have transformed the industry whilst simultaneously reducing the risks of contamination for sterile products. However, modern therapies - innovative, targeted treatments that result in small-batch aseptic products - require faster speeds to market and present unique sterilization and handling challenges. This dichotomy presents unique challenges for the industry to address.

David Phasey, joined 3P in 2010 as a Project Development Engineer joining a growing team to help develop automation for a novel healthcare device. In the subsequent 10 years, David has risen to Project Director, delivering projects across a spectrum of industries, each of which has contributed to the development of 3P's range of platform technologies. This breadth of experience has enabled David to develop a valuable set of capabilities across manufacturing processes such as novel vaccine delivery and ATMP's, with a specialist knowledge of sterile manufacturing.
