3P innovation's Queen's Awards Presentation 2021

3P innovation's Queen's Awards Presentation 2021

On Friday, 22nd October, 3P innovation, was presented with their two Queen’s Awards (2020 and 2021) by Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire, Mr. Tim Cox.

Last month we were awarded with our Queen's Awards for Enterprise in Innovation in 2020 and our Queen's Award for International Trade in 2021. These Queen's Awards are internationally recognised as the UK's most prestigious business awards, which date back to 1966.

We were joined by a number of prestigious guests including the High Sheriff of Warwickshire - Lady Willoughby De Brooke, The Mayor of Warwick - Councillor Richard Edgington and a few of our customers.

This was an exciting day for the whole company, and was held in our workshop at our Warwickshire based facility which was dressed up for the occasion. Attendees were welcomed to the event with drinks and a meet and greet before introductions were made by Founder and Engineering Director, Tom Bailey.

We were also joined by our customer Quanta Dialysis with their CEO John Milad giving a talk about the products the company is currently working on and the contribution 3P has made towards them. Short talks were also given by Projects Director Alex Jezequel, about the work 3P have done with Oval Medical along with Founder and Engineering Director, Dave Seaward, representing IPM.

Guests were also given a tour of the facility getting the opportunity to see some of the outstanding 3P technology in action. The Lord Lieutenant even got to have a go at working a Micro Auger!

These Queen’s Awards build upon last year’s success for 3P: shortly after launching a national visor initiative, where we donated over 40,000 visors to frontline staff, 3P were awarded with a UK Business Hero stamp by the British Chambers of Commerce. We then ended the year on a high note after announcing our transition to employee ownership. This year we have also been awarded with a Princess Royal Training Award for their Graduate Development Programme (GDP).

Commenting on this success, Dave Seaward, Founder and Engineering Director at 3P said: ‘The future is looking bright at 3P. These awards recognise the hard work of all our employees and the pride we take in developing our people. We were honoured and humbled to be presented with these royal awards. We look forward to continued development of our highly-skilled staff who design and develop market-leading automation for our clients’.
